Sights in Goa
Calangute Beach
Known as the longest urban beach in the country. It runs from Fort St. George in the north of Goa to Foreshore Estate in the south covering a distance of 6 km. The sunrise from the beach is something that shouldn’t be missed.
Basilica of Bom Jesus
This 415-year-old church was built by Portuguese and is currently a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The church still preserves the mortal remains of St. Francis Xavier. This is the oldest church in Goa and one of the oldest churches in India.
Chapora Fort
The fort built in 1617 was of strategic importance for defence purpose amongst the rulers who have held this fort. Today the fort is also named ‘the heart yearns’ after a famous Bollywood film location. The best time to visit this fort, located in Bardez is the evening for an epic sunset.

Direct buses are available to the Panjim and Anjuna region between 8 am to 6 pm. The charges are in between $1 to $2 for both locations.
